Modi to visit six Ganesh utsav venues in Vadodara today

Narendra Modi will today visit Vadodara city to participate in Ganesh utsav here.

According to sources, Modi will arrive at Vadodara airport by seven in the evening. He will then visit about six Ganesh mandal venues.

The venues where Modi is likely to visit to perform aarti are:Mahavir hall cross road, Mandvi Shamal Bechar pol, Rajmahel road Marimata street, Sursagar Ganesh near fire station, Dandia bazar’s Prakash Yuvak Mandal, and Fatehganj main road’s Yuvak Mandal’s Ganesh.

This is Modi’s first visit after Municipal Corporation elections are announced. The civic election in Vadodara is scheduled to be held in second week of October. There’s no doubt that Modi’s visit will prove like a road-show.

Vadodara has major presence of Marathi people. The city celebrates Ganesh utsav aggressively. On every nook and corner, someone or other installs Ganesh murthy during Ganesh Utsav.
