Vande Mataram

Dear Friends

Since last one month I have been representing the group of people who are
opposing the illegal slaughtering of animals and selling of meat at Okha
Port.

Our Sarpanch (President) Okha Gram Panchayat have issued N.O.C. for selling
of meat without passing any resolution and without consent of the Members Of
Okha Gram Panchayat.

I had also sent one copy to the CM, Gujarat. Collector-Jamnagar,
DSP-Jamnagar, DDO, TDO, and Sarpanch did not responded to our objection, and
slaughtering of animals was ramphant. Although I am democratically elected
representative of Okha Gram Panchayat I was denied the copy of NOC issued by
Sarpanch, thereby violating my constitutional rights and privileges.

On 15.06.2005 at 08:19 morning I recd the call the CM Residence, CM Resi
Operator told me the CM wants to talk to me, and I was put to Sh Narendra
Modi. I felt thrilled to talk of Sh Narendra Modi. He said, Namaskar
Deepakji, Narendra Modi Bol Raha Hun, Bolo kya Kam hain. I then gave my RSS
background, my Dwarka Taluka responsibility. He told me that he is
scheduled to visit Dwarka Taluka on 18.06.2006 for Education Awareness
Programme in Rural areas, especially education She Child.

I asked him, how it will be possible to contact him, he told me to just send
my name written on piece of paper and he will call me for personal talk,
also asked me to hand over to him all the documents during he one-to-one
session.

On 18.06.2005, we became part of his entourage, I successfully sent one note
to his driver through the local volunteer of village. At Rajpara village, I
managed to stand before him and said Namaskar Narendrabhai, I am Deepak
Karelia, instantly he recognised me and said "so you have come". He advised
is PS Dinesh Thakur, I want to meet Deepak personally, give hime time. I
was asked to come to Circuit House, Dwarka, but then it was decided that
during the programme Hon. CM will summon me for talk.

The lunch was at Lunaai Mataji Temple, it was around 0130 and suddenly the
DSP, Collector, PSI and police staff were running and searching for someone.
Some one shouted 'Deepak is there". DSP approached me and said Deepaksaab
CM Saab wants to meet you. Hon. CM wanted private talk with me hence other
guests and executives were asked politely to leave the CM alone. I entered
the room, but was again stopped by black Cat commando. Here CM told them
Deepak Ko Aane Do.

I entered the room, CM was alone, I said "Namaskar Narendra Bhai, he
responded "AAv Deepak, bool shu problem chee". I handed over the file to
him, which he referred for some two minutes, and asked me the status of
complaint. I responded that none of the government official were responding
me. He immediately asked his aide to call Collector Jamnagar and requested
his explanation why my complain was not moving and what he has done. He
instructed collector to do all needful to eliminate my problem, and also
warned him that Deepak's complaint regarding this issue should not reach him
next time.

The he said "Deepak Biju Kai Kehavu Che, I told "Na Narendrabhai, AAbhar
(Thanks).

This was my lifes thrilling experience talking with CM, Gujarat for 08
minutes.

Saffron Terror, Chidambaram And Narendra Modi

Today My client called me at four p.m. to reschedule our meeting from 6 p.m. to 5 p.m. I confirmed the rescheduling and left my office at 4.30 pm. While I was driving through the traffic ,I saw a hoarding which picture of narendra modi. It read -’Kesari ae to tirango no aangh ,congress kaahe ae atankvaad no rang’ which means ’saffron is part of national flag, while congress calls it color of terrorism’.

As soon as chidambaram spoke those two words , BJP went on offensive. Generally two words found most offensive start dont start with s and t but these ones did. ‘Saffron Terror’. Considering how seasoned chidambaram is ,both in politics as well as in his law profession , he knew what he was speaking about and he knew what this words would directly, indirectly mean.

BJP , on other hand has right to attack because saffron is not just color of extremist outfits but also color of BJP flag (which has green too),RSS too and as that hoarding rightly said color present in our national flag too.

Saffron is not just limited to above three ,it is part of Indian culture. It is in flags of temple , it is color of sacrifice and it is color cherished by India since centuries. But did BJP get offended because of that?.Did chidambaram meant that when he occured those two words?

Answer in No. Chidambaram was not targeting general Indian masses .He was targeting fanatics in Hindus. Now if you ask any muslim about jihad and jihadi?. They would immediately react that jihad is part of Islam and obligatory on muslims but these so called jihadis are not part of Islam. Islam can do no harm to innocent is common belief shared by muslims all across the world which is perfectly understandable but it remains a fact that fanatics in muslims are cause of concerns for even muslim dominated countries like pakistan , afghanistan, Iraq , Sudan ,Somalia . According to those fanatics their version of Islam is true Islam and rest followers or believers have corrupted true belief system.

As muslims are usually in denial about these jihadi , Hindus are more or less equally in denial with possibility of fanatics in Hinduism. True Hinduism does not have single book which can be used for mis interpretation. True Hinduism believes that there are many ways to god . True Hinduism does not belief in conversion and Hinduism does not have strong belief in heaven and prefer moksha above heaven. A soul harming any innocent would get re birth and would be stuck in end less cycle of births is what Hinduism believes in but still that didn’t stop bombs getting exploded in places where investigation is leading towards fanatics among Hindus. It didn’t stop girls getting bashed outside manglore pub .

When we need to view fanatic , we need to look at larger view. We need to look humans beings as plain human beings not tagged as Hindus,Muslims ,Christians or other religious units…When we talk about Muslims or Hindus or Christians we aren’t talking about individuals but groups.Groups which are crores and fanaticm being human phenomena ,the bug can bite any one and fanaticm is based on ideology not religion only. Ideology that ‘my way is the only way, rest have to fall in line or perish’. Naxals are fanatics too though they don’t believe in any religion. Taliban are fanatics too , though they believe is radical Islam . Christianity has had its share of fanaticm and crusader is perfect example of that.

As human being we must nurture our coming generation in environment where co existence of various faith can exist together. We often blame pakistan but forget what pakistan is right now going through. All eminent scholars , media personnels and liberal of pakistan agree that pakistan is paying price of inducing extremism in their country , twenty years back.

If we dont learn from our neighbours , we too are heading their way.(by we I mean Indians which includes every person living in India irrespective of faith he/she follows). So chidambaram’s point must not get lost in color controversy. It does have important message in it.

Now coming back to color which chidambaram mentioned. Well he made sure his comments serves the purpose . Saffron terror can work for congress in getting votes from minority and liberals while saffron can very well mean bjp,rss instead of purohit and pragyas..It is like hitting two birds with one stone.

But if chidambaram can hit stone , narendra modi has always been successful in catching same stone and hitting it back. The hoarding says it all. Narendra Modi ,irrespective of extreme emotions he generates ,if one views him with prejudice , he is master is using any situation to best of his advantage. The more congress tries to gain political mileage by nailing right wing ,the more powerful modi would become in gujarat.

Modi and congress actually work to each others advantage. Being popular among their respective voters who fear/hate/worry about each other and it works. Saffron terror or Jihadi ..It works but amidst war of words , amidst emotions attached to saffron , we must not forget larger context and perceptive. India is liberal democracy and only thing which we need in India is implementing constitution in letter and spirit. Nailing fanatic muslims , fanatic sikhs , fanatic hindus and every person who can be threat to right of belief , freedom of expression and constitution of India.-Jai Hind

Narendra Modi to address BJP's ‘Swabhiman' rally

Patna: Ending all speculation, BJP national spokesperson Ravi Shankar Prasad on Thursday confirmed that Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi would address the party's “Swabhiman” rally to be held here as part of the two-day BJP National Executive meeting.

Mr. Prasad further said Pilibhit MP and BJP leader Varun Gandhi would not speak on the occasion, which is to be held in Patna's symbolic Gandhi Maidan at the end of the meet this Sunday.

Asked whether Chief Minister and JD (U) leader Nitish Kumar would address the rally, Mr. Prasad replied in the negative.

Sources revealed that Mr. Nitish Kumar would hold a grand dinner for about 300 BJP leaders coming for the meet.

This is the first meeting of the party's National Executive after its incumbent president Nitin Gadkari was formally ratified at the Indore conclave held in February this year.

The meet, which aims at bolstering the NDA alliance's electoral chances this critical election year, is being held here after a period of 16 years.

Mr. Prasad reiterated the three resolutions to be adopted during the meet which includes a review of one year the UPA-II government especially on the issue of spiralling prices, the Maoist problem and the Congress-led Centre's discriminatory treatment to non-UPA, non- Congress States.

“We will assess the impact of this step-motherly treatment on the federal principles of the country,” he said.

While Bihar's Assembly polls would be a crucial issue in the discussions, Mr. Prasad said “Jharkhand's political scenario would tentatively feature” during the course of the debates.

The meeting would also review the party's notable achievements in States like Karnataka and Uttarakhand -- highlighting its thumping victory in the Bangalore civic polls and the successful management of the Kumbh Mela in Haridwar by Uttarakhand Chief Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank'.

Meanwhile, the preparations for the meet are being undertaken on an extravagant and lavish scale.

A look at the parting gifts for the guests offers ample proof, wherein each delegate would be presented with specially designed Madhubani paintings and a 2 kg. pack of delectable “Digha Malda” variety of mangoes.

Ironic this, as rising prices of essential commodities is ostensibly supposed to be the major agenda for the meet.

Naendra Modi is senior BJP leader and Chief Minister of Gujarat. Narendra Modi is longest serving chief minister in the history of Gujarat state, as he became chief minister first time on 7th October, 2001. Many people who know Narendra tells that he is everything in Gujarat BJP like a single man army. Born on 17th September, 1950 in a small town of North Gujarat, Narendra Modi has raised himself to new heights in politics which many other leaders only think. Main reason of success of Narendra Modi in Gujarat is his work dedication for the growth of Gujarat state. During his tenure, Gujarat has become stronger and progressive state of India.

However, the major difficulty for the Narendra Modi is that he is famous for non proper handling of 2002 Gujarat Riots. Many people believe that Narendra Modi did not put full efforts to stop violence during 2002 riots and even asked police to not take action against certain community members; though, this matter is under investigation presently. Still, despite all these ups and downs, Modi is emerging as a stronger leader day by day and today, he is considered as big national leader of BJP. Due to this Narendra Modi is not only popular in Gujarat but he run many successful election campaigns for BJP across India. If we can forget about Narendra Modi and his role in 2002 riots then it is very hard to find a highly effective chief minister like him in India.

All this become clear from the confidence of people of Gujarat shown on him again and again. During his tenure, opposition parties have become very weak in Gujarat and we should not feel surprised if he wins again next time in Gujarat. Narendra Modi is a highly educated politician and he holds degrees of Masters in Political science from Gujarat University. Narendra Modi also has distinction of only bachelor chief in India. People of any state like their leader to be strong enough to give them good governance and Narendra Modi has no doubtfully done so to people of Gujarat. Other Chief Ministers of India can also learn from him that how a state can be developed?

Shri Narendra Modi on the Political Resolution

Shri Narendra Modi on the Political Resolution

Sri Narendra Modi ji

Sri Narendra Modi ji

Brief Note on the points made by Shri Narendra Modi, Chief Minister of Gujarat while intervening in the discussion on the Political Resolution:

The Country stands at the cross-roads of an important phase in its life when the government of the day has become a threat to the unity and sovereignty of India.

Historically the RSS, Jana Sangh and the BJP were parties of aggressive nationalism. The Communists, the Muslim league were subversive in their stand on issue of sovereignty and integrity. The Congress had a traditional centrist position on these issues.

During the past few years, the drift in the Congress has strengthened the forces which are out to weaken India. Congress under Mrs. Sonia Gandhi & Dr. Manmohan Singh have drifted the traditional Congress position on national sovereignty.

Analyses of the Congress / UPA functioning reveals the following ten issues were the UPA has seriously compromised national interest. This Government has tried to assault symbols of our national and cultural pride.

1. This government has been soft on terror. It has consistently sent a signal that its softness on terror is minority friendly. The repeal of POTA, the non execution of Afzal Guru, the refusal to give assent to the State level anti-organized crime laws are all evidence of the government’s softness on terror. The softness on terror is being used by the UPA as an instrument for vote bank politics.

2. The government has bowed to its allies in agreeing to the demolition of the Ram Sethu. This was done essentially to hurt the majority sentiment in the country.

3. The decision to withdraw allotment of land to the Sri Amaranathji Shrine Board was an evidence of the government bending backwards to appease the separatist. The UPA government wanted to please the separatist even at the cost of alienating the nationalist.

4. The illegal immigrants from Bangladesh continue to invade India. The Government of India and the UPA don’t perceive these illegal immigrants as a threat to the sovereignty and demography of India. They prefer to use these immigrants as a vote bank.

5. The Supreme Court quashed both the IMDT Act and “The Foreigner’s (Control) Order Amendments” since they were intended to make detection of Foreigners’ impossible. The UPA has failed to introduce a proper mechanism for foreigners’ detection.

6. Three constituents of the UPA, the Samajwadi Party, the RJD and LJP have openly supported SIMI and the Congress continuous to maintain a relationship with them.

7. Religious conversion by missionaries is been protected and increased even though it has an adverse impact on demography and creates social tensions. The proposal to grant reservations to Dalit Christians and Muslims is intended to incentives conversion.

8. The Sachar Commission recommendation intended to introduce Communal budgeting in India and initiate reverse discrimination against the majority are now sought to be implemented.

9. Religion based reservations have no place in our Constitutional system. Yet the UPA has been trying to introduce religion based reservations in states ruled by the UPA.

10. The Indo-US nuclear deal seriously compromises national security in as much as it limits our testing option particularly when China and Pakistan have nuclear potentials.

As against this our state governments particularly in Gujarat, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh are the only ones which have succeeded in resolving terrorist crimes. The Chattisgarh government has launched a crusade against Naxalism.

In Gujarat our police intelligence and investigating ability is being supported by the state government. Vote bank politics is not allowed to intervene. It is for this reason that the Gujarat police has cracked the recent Ahmedabad blast case.

We are handicapped since Gujarat’s anti organized crime law has not been given central clearance. We are being prevented by those who act soft on terror from fighting terror. But we are determined to carry on the battle both against the terrorists and against those who prevent us from fighting terror.

It has been reported in a section of media that the National Security advisor has also supported the Gujarat government’s proposal for an anti-terror law namely GUJCOC to fight terror. The Home Ministry has opposed it.

PM's remarks on Shah biggest joke of 2011: Modi

PM's remarks on Shah biggest joke of 2011: Modi

Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi on Thursday launched a scathing attack on Prime Minister Manmohan Singh saying his remark on Amit Shah was the "biggest joke of 2011". "Prime Minister tried to associate Gujarat in his press conference to wash off the stains on himself. This is the joke of the ye
ar 2011. This is laughable," he said.

In a veiled reference to Shah during his interaction with TV editors on Wednesday, Singh said, "The Opposition parties, particularly BJP has taken a hostile attitude and the reasons that have been given frankly I cannot mention it in public... because you have taken some decision against a particular person, who was a minister in Gujarat, you must reverse it. I don't want to add further."

"Instead of blaming any minister from Gujarat or the state government, the prime minister should give true facts about his failures before the people of India," the Gujarat chief minister said.

Singh made the comments while blaming the Opposition for the delay in introduction of the Constitution Amendment Bill on Goods and Service Tax (GST).

Shah, a former minister of state for home in the Modi government, was arrested by CBI in the Sohrabuddin Sheikh fake encounter case and is now out on bail.

Criticising Singh for blaming the BJP for delay in the economic reforms, Modi said, "Now when the prime minister has accepted his helplessness in running the government, he should put forward true facts on his government's failure to carry forward economic reforms and GST. BJP and Gujarat government has always shown a positive attitude toward economic reforms and GST."

Modi demanded that the Union government make public, the proceedings and minutes of meetings held during the last two years of the empowered committee formed for implementation of GST.

It will become clear that only talks of reforming the system have been discussed in the meetings and nothing concrete has taken place, he said.

Modi said that during a meeting with finance minister Pranab Mukherjee on the issue of GST a year ago, he had told him that GST cannot be implemented unless information technology network is installed in the entire country.

"Mukherjee, in the meeting, itself had instructed his staff members to form a task force for implementation of information and technology network in the entire country. However, no progress has been made on the issue after one year," he said.

Not only non-Congress state government but those who are supporting the UPA have also made it clear to the Centre that it should not play with the states' interests on the issue of GST, he said.
