Sharad claims Centre will allow formation of JPC

Patna, Feb 9 (PTI) JD(U) President, Sharad Yadav today claimed that he had information that the Centre would allow formation of JPC on 2G spectrum scam and said in such case smooth functioning of the forthcoming Budget Session was guaranteed. "I have received message that the Centre will set up the JPC. In such case the opposition will allow the smooth run of the coming session of Parliament," Yadav told reporters here. Coming out of an hour-long all-party meeting, convened by Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee in New Delhi yesterday, opposition leaders claimed there was "consensus" on the JPC issue and both the sides were keen that Parliament should function.
