Vibrant Gujarat Global Investor Summit 2009 The Government of Gujarat inaugurated their 4th Global Investor Summit Vibrant Gujarat in Ahmedabad on 12 & 13th January 2009. The CBC led a delegation of Members to the summit, at which Dr Kaul Chaired a special session on 'Infrastructure with a focus on Special Investment Regions (SIR). The Summit was well attended with over 20,000 delegates comprising Heads of Government, Government Ministers and international business leaders. Over the 2 day summit, $250Billion worth of investment in over 800 MoUs was signed. CBC Technologies, signed a MoU with the Government of Gujarat to build a Clean Technology Solar Power Plant for the production of 5 -10 MW. For more information please contact Vijay Amliwala. With the number of CBC members in Nigeria increasing, the focus of the breakfast was to outline the CBCs forward programme for Nigeria, and to seek members views on how the CBCs service could be expanded and in which areas future work should concentrate.
