Surat: Chief minister Narendra Modi, known as a visionary of Gujarat, was seen taking on the role of a motivational guru at the 42nd annual convocation of Veer Narmad Dakshin Gujarat University(VNSGU) in Surat on Saturday. CM gave tips on achieving success and fame to the graduating students.
While addressing young graduates, Modi asked them to evaluate their capability and fix their goals accordingly. He told them to achieve greatness through hard work and dedication. "Why it is that some people attain everything in their life compared to others? How do they become successful in everything they do? There are few factors for becoming a noteworthy person and those who follow it, never look back," Modi said.
Fix a goal according to your capability, have confidence in yourself, be aggressive when it comes to attaining something in life and constantly update your knowledge, he advised the students.
Earlier, governor of Gujarat awarded degrees and medals to the successful students. Total 86 PhD degrees and 131 MPhil degrees were awarded by the governor. Seventy-two gold medals and 75 prizes were awarded to 92 students consisting of 67 girls and 25 boys. Total 33,884 degrees in nine faculties were awarded during the convocation.
